Online discussion "Hydrogen economy development in the European dimension. Ways for mutually beneficial international cooperation"

The State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine (SAEE) together with the biggest business community of energy companies "Energy Club" is holding a series of highly specialized professional discussions on ways to develop the hydrogen economy in Ukraine.

The new hydrogen industry must be built in a way to provide Ukraine with a competitive position on the world energy arena.

Discussion participants - representatives of government, business, science, education, international and expert community - will raise and outline all the issues of the new industry development, focusing on each stage of the chain: from hydrogen production to its consumption.

On August 4, 2022 at 12:00 (Kyiv time) SAEE and Energy Club will hold the online discussion #8 «Hydrogen Economy Development in the European Dimension. Ways for Mutually Beneficial International Cooperation».

Key issues:

  • hydrogen in the EU energy policy and the "REPowerEU" plan;
  • cooperation between the EU and Ukraine - when the first large-scale projects of Ukraine's export potential will appear, what needs to be done to implement them;
  • investments in hydrogen projects - sources of financing;
  • plans, scientific developments, pilot projects of different countries of the world;
  • equipment market for hydrogen projects - what to expect in the next 5 years.
