Anna Zamazeeva outlined key steps for Ukraine's energy-efficient transformation and decarbonization for 2024

The Head of State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine (SAEE) Anna Zamazeeva took part in a meeting with the Ministry of Recovery of Ukraine and heads of diplomatic missions and the public, during which she presented the key steps taken in 2023 and outlined plans for 2024.
"We have prioritized increasing energy efficiency, developing alternative fuel sectors and decarbonization. And in this work, we adhere to the course of European integration and recovery," said Anna Zamazeeva, drawing participants' attention to the main achievements of the Agency's team, including:
- 14 prepared draft regulatory acts for the implementation of the Energy Efficiency Law;
- 12 developed technical regulations on eco-design and energy labeling to implement the requirements of the Association Agreement between Ukraine and the EU;
- The adopted Law of Ukraine on high efficiency cogeneration development and 6 developed bylaws for its implementation;
- over 3300 introduced energy management systems in central and local authorities, institutions and state-owned enterprises, doubling the 2022 data;
- monitored energy efficiency certificates for more than 3800 buildings and signed ESCO contracts totaling UAH 1.73 billion as of December 2023... These are just some of the key results.
