Demand for financial assistance from the Government and local authorities doesn't fall even on holidays. For the first two weeks of the new 2017 year 10 condominiums have joined the program and got UAH 673 thousand of "warm" loans.

"As you can see, the weather conditions, the New Year and Christmas celebrations haven’t softened the fervour of the condominiums' heads who really defend the interests of inhabitants, who think about the future, who take energy efficiency most seriously and see this as the solution to many problems, among which there is reduction of energy consumption and utility bills", - the Agency's Head Sergiy Savchuk commented on the weekly state energy efficiency program monitoring data.

Sergiy Savchuk said that the state energy efficiency program for condominiums has become one of the most profitable options for home insulation. Almost 40% compensation of the "warm" loan from the state budget means that condominiums have the opportunity to implement energy efficiency measures buying the necessary materials and equipment for nearly half of their market price. If there are families who get subsidies in the house, the government aid can reach 70%. The condominiums can also appeal to local authorities and get additional compensation that is 20-50% in some regions and the total amount of financial aid for condominiums will be more than 70%.

In addition to financial benefits, condominiums enjoy the opportunity to pay less for utilities after energy efficiency measures implementation. A nice bonus for residents is also cosy, comfortable and warm homes.

In general, since the beginning of the program 639 condominiums have already become its participants. They attracted more than UAH 78 million on different energy efficiency measures: windows replacement with energy-efficient ones, house insulation, meters installation etc. The government has compensated them UAH 28.3 million. Noteworthy is the fact that the number of the program participants continues to grow.
