The State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine (SAEE) attracted 16 students of the Institute of Energy Saving and Energy Management of the NTUU "KPI" to undergo a pre-diploma practical training. The Head of the Agency Serhiy Savchuk held the first meeting with the students.

"Of course, the knowledge gained by students in the institute will be useful to us, - said Serhiy Savchuk. – Besides students will have the opportunity to receive not only valuable practical skills in the spheres of state regulation, energy efficiency and alternative energy, but also references to apply for a job at the SAEE or other agencies and companies with which we work closely, such as Ministry of Regional Development, Building, Housing and Communal Services of Ukraine, Ministry of Energy and Coal Industry of Ukraine, NJSC Naftogaz of Ukraine, the Energorynok public enterprise and others".

According to the First Deputy Head Oleksiy Korchmit, except the knowledge students are also expected to show creative thinking, analytical skills, proficiency in English and in modern software, and the most important - desire to work and create.

Students will acquire hands-on experience and get materials for diploma in the State Regulation Department and Renewable Energy Development Department within a month. After the practice the best will be able to do an internship in the Agency.
