Mrs. Malaia Mariia

Mariia Malaia has over 30 years of professional experience, including nearly 28 years in public administration and energy efficiency.

She began her career in 1997 as a Chief Legal Specialist at the State Committee of Ukraine for Energy Saving. Over the following years, she progressed through various leadership roles, serving as Legal Advisor, Head of Department, Director of Department, and Deputy Head of the National Agency for Efficient Use of Energy Resources. Since 2011, she has held key positions at the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine (SAEE), where she initially led the Legal Department before being appointed First Deputy Head of the SAEE in 2022.

Mariia Malaia holds three higher education degrees:

Master of Business Administration (MBA), International Institute of Management (MIM-Kyiv), 2015.

Master of Public Administration, National Academy of Public Administration under the President of Ukraine, 2001.

Specialist in Law, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, 1998.

For her significant contribution to the development of the civil service and the energy efficiency sector, she was awarded the honorary title "Honored Jurist of Ukraine," along with numerous commendations and honorary diplomas.

She has extensive experience in providing legal support for national energy efficiency policies, strategic management, and the development of regulatory frameworks.
