The banks issued almost 1 billion UAH loans for energy efficiency materials and equipment

It was reported by the Head of the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine Sergiy Savchuk, commenting on the results of the weekly monitoring of the state energy efficiency program.

"The data we have received show that the program is popular both among the people and condominiums who have got 119 loans worth 11,80 million UAH", - Sergiy Savchuk said. According to him, Ukrainians like the approach the Government has offered in order to implement energy efficiency projects.

As of November 9, 2015 the banks issued loans amounting to 950.9 million UAH. "More than 60,000 families have got these loans and insulated their own houses. However, we have work to do", - the Head of the Agency stressed.
