That is why the SAEE is actively developing close cooperation with universities to unlock the potential of young people and prepare future drivers of energy-efficient changes.

The SAEE Head Anna Zamazeeva signed a partnership memorandum with the rector of the state university Zhytomyr Polytechnic Viktor Yevdokimov.

“Our common task is to improve the quality of the educational and scientific process in the spheres that are important for recovery and sustainable development - energy efficiency, green energy, decarbonization”, - said Anna Zamazeeva.

She paid attention to the fact that the training of specialists must meet the needs of the market. Especially in such difficult times for the country, when energy managers are needed in every community, at enterprises, energy auditors and many other specialists who will implement modern European standards in various sectors of the economy.

According to the Memorandum, the  State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine and Zhytomyr Polytechnic State University will jointly work on:

• new educational programs introduction;
• creating a broad-based hub for comprehensive training and advanced training of energy auditors for the needs of industry and municipalities;
• scientific developments and research.

They also discussed the tools we are currently working on to support communities in implementing energy-efficient projects.

“I invite all universities to cooperate! We are open to dialogue! I am convinced that the youth are the real drivers of change. They feel all global trends better than anyone and generate new ideas and innovative projects for a better life for Ukrainians”, - said the Head.
