The Deputy Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development Oleksandr Butenko introduced the new Head of the State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine (SAEE) Anna Zamazeeva, who was appointed by the Government on March 10, 2023.

During the presentation, Oleksandr Butenko emphasized the importance of state policy in energy efficiency, which is a component of the country's high-quality reconstruction.

"Recovery should be based on energy efficiency. Therefore, a lot of tasks are planned, which we have to implement in the near future," said Oleksandr Butenko and called everyone to fruitful work.

Outlining priorities, Anna Zamazeeva emphasized the importance of close cooperation with communities: "Energy efficiency issues primarily concern communities. Therefore, it is important to establish cooperation with the regions, with local authorities".

In addition, the new head of the Agency Anna Zamazeeva emphasized the need to fulfill all tasks stipulated by the Association Agreement with the EU, in particular, in the field of energy efficiency, in order to accelerate Ukraine's integration into the EU.

"Today we are fighting for European values. Among them there is energy efficiency. We must at the highest level fulfill all the tasks that are set by the President and the Deputy Prime Minister for Restoration of Ukraine and Minister for Communities, Territories and Infrastructure Development. I hope that we will be able to contribute to the country's path to victory, as well as help people rebuild in the post-war period," concluded Anna Zamazeeva.
