Employers’ Forum KNUCA Expo 2026
On May 7, 2026, the UKRENERGY project coordinator, Kyiv National University of Construction and Architecture, held the Employers’ Forum “KNUCA Expo 2026”, which brought together leading construction companies, developers, representatives of public authorities, and experts from across the industry.
The Forum created a platform for direct interaction between companies and the younger generation of professionals, while also giving students the opportunity to communicate directly with employers, explore vacancies and internship programs, and build a network of contacts for future employment.
During the event, a panel discussion entitled “How Universities Integrate into Urban and Economic Processes” took place, featuring representatives of key ministries, business leaders, and industry experts.
As part of the Forum, KNUCA Rector Oleksii Dniprov presented a new concept of a transformative university – the KNUCA Nodes Ecosystem – aimed at developing a modern model of partnership between education, government, business, and the urban environment.
The KNUCA Nodes Ecosystem is based on the integration of education with practical application: students, faculty members, and partners work together on urban, infrastructure, and economic challenges, test solutions, and create applied value. One of the key elements of the concept is the so-called “urban engine” – a system of interaction between the university, the city, businesses, and communities, where knowledge is transformed into solutions for the development of territories, the economy, and human capital. Within this model, the university is intended to become an environment for developing new competencies, innovative partnerships, research projects, and lifelong learning opportunities. At the same time, the concept envisages active cooperation with businesses, communities, government institutions, and international partners through joint laboratories, internships, research initiatives, corporate programs, and the modernization of educational programs in line with labor market needs. According to the new concept, Solomianskyi district and Kyiv as a whole serve for KNUCA as a space for testing new solutions and models of interaction between the university, the city, and society — ranging from engineering and urban development projects to the advancement of sports infrastructure, science, and the urban environment.
