Almost 50 % of energy from alternative energy sources is consumed in Zhovkva city

Due to several energy efficiency and renewable energy projects, Zhovkva city in Lviv region reduced gas usage and consumed 45 % of heat from the alternative sources during the last heating season.
This indicator will increase to 60 % after completion of all the planned projects.
"I urge city mayors to take an example from Zhovkva and become less energy-dependent!", - commented the SAEE Head Sergiy Savchuk.
