Energy Efficiency: Simple and Effective Tips
The enemy continues to launch massive missile attacks on Ukraine, with the main target remaining the country’s energy infrastructure. Every kilowatt of energy saved becomes part of Ukraine’s collective energy defense.
The State Agency on Energy Efficiency and Energy Saving of Ukraine (SAEE) reminds everyone: energy efficiency is neither difficult nor necessarily expensive. It’s about simple daily actions that help reduce energy consumption, save money, and increase comfort at home. Insulated housing, household appliances with high energy efficiency ratings, and replacing old bulbs with LEDs are all solutions that pay off not only financially but also by creating a warm, comfortable, and safe living environment.
Even the simplest steps can make a noticeable difference. Using LED lamps consumes ten times less electricity than traditional bulbs. Unplugging devices when not in use, sealing windows and doors to reduce heat loss, choosing appliances labeled with energy efficiency classes A–C, and using smart plugs or timers all help optimize electricity consumption.
