Internship at University of Genoa is over
On 7 February 2025, the internship of the teaching staff at the University of Genoa was successfully completed. The course "Energy Efficient Buildings" was aimed at strengthening the harmonisation of academic approaches and exploring new methods of teaching, learning and assessment with a view to their implementation in the educational process.
24 trainees were divided into 10 working groups and worked on the development of 10 Case Studies on energy efficient buildings. The prepared Case Studies will be used in the educational process when teaching updated Master’s courses.
On the last day, the teams defended their projects and solemnly received certificates.
Case study 1: | Energy efficiency of decentralized ventilation systems with heat recovery |
Case study 2: | Development of adsorptive heat storage unit |
Case study 3: | Research and modeling of office space lighting |
Case study 4: | Reducing heat loss from heating networks and environmental impact of using low-temperature heating systems |
Case study 5: | A study of thermophysical properties of composite thermal storage nanomaterials based on paraffin wax (PW)" |
Case study 6: | Geometric modeling of heat supply system networks on the basis of minimizing heat losses |
Case study 7: | Calculation of energy intensity of road pavement construction |
Case study 8: | Economic efficiency of solar panels installation during the reconstruction and thermal renovation of buildings |
