State Support for Families Raising Children with Group A Disabilities Who Require Uninterrupted Power Supply

Electricity that doesn’t disappear at the very moment when a child needs oxygen, specialized nutrition, online learning, or a medical device to operate. For families raising children with disabilities, this is not about inconvenience — it is a matter of safety, health, and life.

In the photo is Emma, a fourth-grade student who studies in an individual learning format. For her, stable electricity means the daily ability to stay connected with teachers, receive assignments on time, and remain part of the learning process.

Emma’s family is among those who have already received a portable power station from the state. The girl’s mother says the assistance arrived quickly and the application process was simple and clear. She also shared that families they know who are raising children with Group A disabilities are sincerely grateful for this support. For many, uninterrupted electricity is a matter of health and even survival — especially when children are connected to medical devices or require specialized equipment every day.

It is precisely for such families that the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine launched a program under which families raising children with Group A disabilities receive electricity storage devices financed by the State Fund for Decarbonization and Energy Efficient Transformation.

JSC “Decarbonization Fund of Ukraine” faced an extremely challenging and important task — to find the required amount of equipment and organize procurement in the shortest possible time. We understood that the stations were urgently needed for children, so they had to be sourced within days. The Fund’s team promptly reviewed all available offers and searched suppliers’ warehouses for available units.

The team worked without pauses or days off, because behind every delivery there is a specific family and a specific child. As a result, the following has been purchased so far:

▪️ 3,471 stations “Deye AE-FS2.0-2H2”
▪️ 1,129 stations “Fox ESS MQ-2200”
