Head of the State Agency on Energy Efficiency, Hanna Zamazieieva, noted that the pilot facility is a rooftop solar power plant with a capacity of 0.03 MW, installed on the building of the National Joint-Stock Company Ukragroleasing.
“The solar power plant will help reduce electricity consumption from the grid by 12% and cut annual CO₂ emissions by more than 13 tons. The main advantage is that everything happens quickly, conveniently, and as efficiently as possible: the enterprise only makes an initial payment and immediately receives modern equipment from the Decarbonization Fund of Ukraine,” emphasized Hanna Zamazieieva.
This first project demonstrates how the leasing model can serve as an effective tool for implementing innovative “green” technologies without requiring significant upfront investments.
Today, the Decarbonization Fund of Ukraine is a key state mechanism supporting projects aimed at reducing greenhouse gas emissions and developing renewable energy.
More information about the Fund’s programs and opportunities is available on its official website: https://fdu.com.ua
We express our gratitude to the Ukragroleasing team for their prompt and effective cooperation, and to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine for supporting strategic initiatives in the field of energy efficiency.
