The first trucks carrying charging stations for families raising children with Group A disabilities have arrived in Kyiv
This was announced by the Head of the State Agency on Energy Efficiency, Hanna Zamazieieva:
“From the very first day of the program’s launch, we understood how strongly families were waiting for these stations — how urgently this support is needed right now. That is why we worked within extremely tight deadlines and in an emergency mode. Our top priority was to promptly find the required quantity of equipment and organize procurement.
JSC ‘Decarbonization Fund of Ukraine’ searched for the stations literally across all corners of the EU — and succeeded. In just two weeks from the start of accepting applications, all 10,000 stations предусмотрені by the government resolution within the allocated funding were purchased. And now, the first vehicles carrying this important cargo are already in Kyiv.”
The Head of the Agency also visited the Ukrposhta hub, where the equipment is being received and immediately prepared for shipment to families. In the coming days, the first families will receive the support their children need in the most difficult moments.
“I personally thanked the drivers. Despite extremely difficult weather conditions — freezing temperatures, snow, and a long journey — they were on the road for six consecutive days to deliver the equipment to Ukraine as quickly as possible. A great many people worked on implementing this decision. I am grateful to every one of them,” Hanna Zamazieieva concluded.
We are grateful to the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine and all the teams who joined forces: the Ministry of Social Policy, Family and Unity of Ukraine, the Ministry of Energy of Ukraine, the Pension Fund of Ukraine, the Decarbonization Fund of Ukraine, and JSC “Ukrposhta”.
Together — we support those who need it most.
