UKRENERGY project partner - Energy Innovation hub of Dnipro city
The Energy Innovation Hub of the city of Dnipro — a partner of the UKRENERGY project and an expert center for the reconstruction of Ukraine — was established on the basis of the Educational and Scientific Institute “Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture” of the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies within the framework of the project “Reforms in the Field of Energy Efficiency in Ukraine”, which is implemented by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ GmbH) on behalf of the Government of Germany.
Under the auspices of the Energy Innovation Hub, webinars and seminars are regularly organized, covering a wide range of topics in the field of energy efficiency. These events are aimed not only at providing up-to-date knowledge and practical skills, but also at stimulating the exchange of experience among professionals, researchers, and all stakeholders who seek to contribute to the sustainable energy future of Ukraine.
In addition, the Energy Innovation Hub serves as a center of professional expertise and a demonstration platform for advanced materials, innovative technologies, and equipment in the field of energy efficiency. The Hub also hosts a laboratory for energy auditing and energy certification, conducts thermal imaging inspections of buildings, performs Blower Door tests (to determine building airtightness), and develops projects aimed at improving the energy efficiency of buildings, among other activities.
