7th Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists "Intellectual Property and Promotion of Energy Efficiency in Ukraine"
On December 1st, 2025, the Ukrainian State University of Science and Technologies will host the 7th Scientific and Practical Conference of Young Scientists ‘Intellectual Property and Promotion of Energy Efficiency in Ukraine: Development Challenges and Prospects in the Information Society’.
The event is organized by the department of Ukrainian Studies, Documentation and Information Activities of the SEI ‘Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture’, USUST, with the support of the Energy Innovation Hub, Dnipro.
The conference is held in the framework of international cooperation under the following projects:
- UKRENERGY (101082898), co-funded by the European Union ‘Innovative Master’s Courses Supporting the Improvement of the Energy and Carbon Footprint of Ukraine’s Building Stock’.
- "Promotion of Energy Efficiency and Implementation of the EU Energy Efficiency Directive in Ukraine" (GIZ GmbH).
Main thematic areas:
- Intellectual property in the construction industry under martial law.
- Development of intellectual property law in the field of energy-efficient construction.
- Professional training in energy efficiency as a foundation for Ukraine’s innovative development.
- Creative industries and intellectual property.
- Academic integrity and protection of intellectual property rights in the age of artificial intelligence.
Conference format and languages:
The conference will be held online via the Office 365 platform.
Languages: Ukrainian, English (other languages of international academic communication).
Participation in the conference is free of charge.
Deadline for the submission of materials: until 30 November 2025.
Conference proceedings will be available on the website of the SEI ‘Prydniprovska State Academy of Civil Engineering and Architecture’, USUST.
