What is agrovoltaics?

Agrovoltaics is not just a trendy concept, but a real tool for improving energy efficiency, profitability, and environmental friendliness in agribusiness and territorial management.

However, due to its recent emergence and the almost complete lack of information about the possibilities and advantages of implementing agrivoltaic measures in Ukraine, this area is little known to the vast majority of representatives of agribusiness and local communities in Ukraine.

At the workshop, you will learn:

• how agrivoltaics works: technical solutions and examples of implementation;
• what benefits it brings to agribusiness and communities;
• about obstacles in the way of its implementation in Ukraine;
• what legislation is currently in force and what changes are expected;
• what opportunities are opening up for communities and businesses in attracting investment, grants, and international support.

The workshop is held with the participation of: Erasmus+ KA2 Project “UKRENERGY” and NGO “Association of Agri-Photovoltaics of Ukraine”.

Leading experts — scientists, lawyers, ecologists, as well as representatives of organizations that support the development of renewable energy in the municipal and agricultural sectors of Ukraine.

Participants will also be provided with information about existing individual and comprehensive services for the implementation of agrivoltaic solutions in agricultural enterprises or communities – from the initial idea to a fully functioning project.
